The tracing results are never accurate. This is because IP addresses are linked to the location of the hosting/internet provider. You cannot track anyone with such tools. When you enter a domain in the search field, you will receive important relevant information, e.g., the Whois data and (live) all DNS records. Trace-IP is not liable for outdated or incorrect data. Our geolocation database is updated every 24 hours. DNS resolver queries take place live. This is why the tool is very helpful for checking DNS entries when going live.

I took the time to migrate my old PHP script to a proper TYPO3 Extbase extension. In the process, the entire code base was rewritten. Trace-IP now works with netGeo data instead of providing an external API. There are also DNS records that are provided via external DNS resolvers. This means that fresh data is always displayed. No caching, no limitations.
